sorry the photo is so small, but this is a moto that i am quite fond of,it struck me the first time i crossed paths with it..it was one of the first bikes that i saw on this side of the pond that really has that........that.........well, i dont know..it has what the bikes in japan seem to have..just enough of the right stuff to glean admiration from all those who gaze upon her ..

'82 LTD 440 KAWASAKI

..we are selling the take off carbs from the LTD in favor of a custom built intake to house a 35mm mikuni single carb..if you can use these, they are in great shape as the moto only has 'bout 900 miles on the ticker..around 50 bux seems fair..oh yeah, trades welcome..thanks..

DIRTROAD DREAMIN'

..i have really been gettin the itch to burn down some dirtroads..soon enough i suppose..

so back in the summer, i posted pics of this ironhead, explained my intentions and such..well, since then, i sold it to Jonesy..he and i have cleaned it up where needed, made a few changes and he told me lastnight that he had it wired..i will post a pic of what it has become tomorrow..oh, thats a pic of Jonesy in his youth..take notice of the extra helmet hanging off the back of the mini..must be for the ladies he was trollin' for..

..this is the newest addition to the diSoRdeR StuDiO, a '66 Chevy Sportvan Custom..this is going to take up the duties of "shop truck" when the flatbed isn't needed..i have to save up a bit of scratch to order some brake parts for it..i would LOVE to hear some feedback 'bout that set of wheels..Cragar S/X..NOT to be confused with the S/S that we are all so familiar with..RARE!!!

i'm sorry to all of you that have decided to follow my blog here, that i haven't kept up with my posts..i hope that you are still interested and know that it is because i'm busy in the shop..i will make an effort to get in here and show some things of interest a couple times a week..

..so i guess the potholes in michigan arent really that bad..

..so im posting this pic bass ackwards from the order of new motos in the stable..got this 250 4 stroke benelli bout 2 weeks ago(before the sporty) and have just been slackin' on the posts(until today anyway)..the lil thing was pretty well kept, has low miles and i was super stoked that it had some high-shouldered aluminum rims on it..i have it in my mind that i may do a slight "cafe" treatment to it when time allows..keep in mind it will have my own twist to that style, race inspired for sure..im just a bit offended by all the "cafe" jap bikes(please dont misunderstand my thoughts here, i'm all for the jap motos,have two myself) poppin' up 'round the mitten lately..as far as my research has gone, brits didn't mess with motos from the far east..so, in reality, are all these scoots really "cafe" bikes or just a tip of the hat to what they were doin' back then..??..same goes for that damned "bobber" term..what gives..??..i guess i'm just a "term nazi"..to each their own as long as we are on two wheels right..??..well, keep cuttin' 'em up and i'll see yall on the road..
